Venue : Quinta do Lago South Course

 

What a great venue to finish the tour. Easily my favourite course on the Algarve, I think everyone enjoyed Quinta as the stage for the last day of competition. A very respectable level of scoring saw a final group comprising Ady Wood on 101 points, Brent Dornford on 92 points, Rob Jacobs on 90 points and Doug Ward on 89 points tussling it out for top spot.

 

Ady Wood's lead once again proved too much for the rest of the pack, despite a valiant late charge by Andy Toft, shooting an impressive 39 points on the last day WHILST playing of a 'Tour' handicap 4 shots lower than his official 26. Fair play mate. Great to see Lloyd earn his first honours of the tour too, with a well earned 3rd place on the day with 31 points.

Third : Lloyd Dornford - 31 points

 

Top Honours once again went to Ady Wood, his 3rd consecutive Tour Victory. I'm sure he will enjoy his Tour handicap of +1 next year!!
