Scotland 2006

The Selby Tour hits Scotland!!

4th - 10th April 2006

In a departure from our traditional trips over to Portugal, 2006 saw St. Andrews playing host to the Kev Cup devotees.

The six day trip involved a couple of rounds in Edinburgh, an excursion out to the wonderful Archerfield Links and several rounds in and around the golfing mecca of St. Andrews itself.

We had a four-round tournament between ourselves over the final four days, and some tough competition resulted in another win for Ady Wood. Well done Ade. Will someone PLEASE snap his 1 iron! :)

The most astounding thing about the Scotland trip was the weather! Considering it was the first week of April, and given that Scotland is, for all intents and purposes, within the Arctic circle, we played 6 rounds of golf without ANY rain! We do seem to be incredibly blessed when it comes to weather.
