Venue : The Old Course

Day one of the 2008 Tour Competition saw an early afternoon tee-off at the awesome Old Course in Vilamoura.

The course was in as good a condition as ever, the weather incredible and a good standard of golf saw Doug Ward scoop the intial daily prize with a confident 34 points, putting him 3 points ahead of the rest of the field.

Result :-

Winner : Doug Ward - 34 points

Second : Ady Wood - 31 points

Third : Rich Deaville - 30 points
