Day 2 : Penina Championship

 

Day 2 of the Rick Whelan Stag Tour dawned, with an early start at Henry Cottons world famous Penina Championship course. This course has hosted the Portugese Open several times but we thought it was about time it saw some real competition.

 

The wind proved a major factor today, and I don't mean the fall-out from Mr. Deaville's curry the night before.

 

Scoring was not as high as Quinta but respectable, considering both the wind and other such environmental factors (e.g. hangovers etc..)

 

A solid performance from Brent earned him a place on the leaderboard and €5 off each of us. Twat. (not that I'm at all bitter!)

 

Winner : Brent Dornford - 33 points

Second : Ady Wood - 30 points

Third : Simon Lowe - 30 points
